چکیده

The ecosystem formed by the marine flowering plant Posidonia oceanica is a biodiversity reservoir and provides many services in coastal Mediterranean regions. Marine meiofauna also major component of that biodiversity, its study can be useful addressing both theoretical applied questions ecology, evolution, conservation. We review meiofaunal diversity meadow P. combining literature case study. First, we gathered records 672 species from 71 published studies, as well unpublished sources, highlighting 4 exclusive to this ecosystem. Eighteen those studies quantified spatial temporal changes composition, habitat-specific assemblages fluctuate following annual experienced these meadows. Hydrodynamics, habitat complexity, food availability, all three inherently linked seagrass phenology, are recognized main factors shaping complex distribution patterns These drivers have been identified mainly Copepoda Nematoda, their effect may depend ultimately on species-specific preferences. Second, tested generality observations using mites model group, showing similar ecological preferences might found other less abundant groups. Overall, our highlights high meadows compared with algae sessile macrofauna associated shows complexity interactions use seagrass.

All - Termination ( SCP )

We recently introduced the All-Termination(T ) problem: given a termination solver T and a function F , find every subset of the formal parameters to F whose consideration is sufficient to show, using T , that F terminates. These subsets can be harnessed by a theorem prover to locate and justify induction schemes, and are also useful for guiding rewriting heuristics and ensuring their terminati...

e-SCP-ECG+ Protocol: An Expansion on SCP-ECG Protocol for Health Telemonitoring—Pilot Implementation

Standard Communication Protocol for Computer-assisted Electrocardiography (SCP-ECG) provides standardized communication among different ECG devices and medical information systems. This paper extends the use of this protocol in order to be included in health monitoring systems. It introduces new sections into SCP-ECG structure for transferring data for positioning, allergies, and five additiona...

Medical Diagnosis by Infrared Spectral Cytopathology (SCP)

Over the past 5 years, more than a quarter million infrared spectra of individual exfoliated human cells have been collected. The origin of these cells was the urinary tract, the cervix, the esophagus and the oral and nasopharyngeal cavities. The overall aim of this research was to establish SCP as a more accurate and reliable method for medical diagnosis of exfoliated cells and as an early ind...

Is the SCP-ECG Format Suitable for Inpatient Ecg Management?

SCP-ECG (Standard Communications Protocol for Computer-Assisted Electrocardiography) is a signalspecific format drawn by the European Committee for Standardization with the goal to be widely used in the ECG field. According to it, a software prototype has been developed and tested in a complex clinical setting. The program extracts information related to the patient, the global measurements, th...

Impact of SCP-2/SCP-x gene ablation and dietary cholesterol on hepatic lipid accumulation.

While a high-cholesterol diet induces hepatic steatosis, the role of intracellular sterol carrier protein-2/sterol carrier protein-x (SCP-2/SCP-x) proteins is unknown. We hypothesized that ablating SCP-2/SCP-x [double knockout (DKO)] would impact hepatic lipids (cholesterol and cholesteryl ester), especially in high-cholesterol-fed mice. DKO did not alter food consumption, and body weight (BW) ...
